Internal Sales Development Executive (VACINT002) (Permanent)

An exciting opportunity arose for Internal Sales Development Executive to work for our fast growing Resourcing and Consultancy Services Company in Solihull. So if you are looking for your new challenge please read on!

Job Purpose:
Working primarily as an internal resource to our current sales team you will need to generate and develop the prospect pipeline through indentifying, targeting and soliciting meetings with new prospects as well as developing qualified leads.

Main Responsibilities:
• To identify, research and qualify new prospects from various sources (databases, research and existing contacts)
• To target and solicit meetings with external customers and prospective new clients by means of networking or research
• To promote Jumar’s image in the best possible light when dealing with both internal and external customers; excellent customer service, polite telephone manner, smart business attire and a general awareness of the impact our image has upon our clients and competitors.
• Build, update and manage a live database; CRM and Voyager
• Develop and work to a client activity plan
• To keep professionally current and well informed with respect to the latest developments within our industry
• To assist where applicable with tendering opportunities; RFPs, RFIs and RFQs.
• To work as part of a team and contribute to an already excellent working environment

Scope of Role:
• Reporting to Business Development Manager

Success Criteria:
• Retain and grow client base
• To meet and exceed targets as laid down in overall business plan – profit margins / new clients
• Adherence to ISO policies and procedures

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge, Skills & Aptitude

Essential:
1. Knowledge of the recruitment sector
2. To be able to work under pressure and meet targets
3. To have excellent customer facing skills and a “can do” attitude
4. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbally
5. Ability to solve complex issues
6. To establish and maintain effective working relationships
7. To be able to work on your own initiative and be tenacious in your approach to finding new leads
8. To have worked as part of a team
9. Computer literate; able to work with databases and Microsoft packages

Desirable:
• Understanding of IT recruitment sector
• Previous CRM and Voyager experience (or similar recruitment packages)
