Sales Development Executive (VACINT003) (Permanent)

We are currently looking for a Sales Development Executive to work primarily as a resource to the sales team. In this role you will need to generate and develop opportunities through identifying, targeting and soliciting meetings with prospects and developing qualified leads. Main Responsibilities:

• Using your telesales skills you will generate and qualify new leads from various sources (databases, research, networking)
• Targeting and soliciting meetings with external customers and new prospects for forwarding to the sales team when appropriate
• Keeping professionally current and well informed with respect to the latest developments to our products and also the changes within the IT solutions industry
• Assisting where applicable with tendering opportunities; RFPs, RFIs and RFQs
• Working as part of a team and contributing to an already excellent working environment
• Promoting Jumar’s image in the best possible light when dealing with both internal and external customers; excellent customer service, polite telephone manner, smart business attire and a general awareness of the impact our image has upon our clients and competitors

Success Criteria:

• Meeting and exceeding targets; setting up meetings with prospective new clients; finding new opportunities
• Adhering to ISO policies and procedures

Knowledge, Skills & Aptitude

Essential:
1. Knowledge and experience of working in IT sales
2. Pro-active and innovative approach to sale/lead generation
3. Ability to work on your own initiative
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
6. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
7. Computer literate; ability to work with databases and Microsoft packages

Desirable:
1. Knowledge and experience of selling software solutions
2. Previous CRM and Voyager experience (or similar databases)

Experience

1. Demonstrable experience of meeting targets
2. Genuinely enjoy and have recent experience in cold calling/telesales
3. Currently working in an IT sales role
4. Proven track record of owning and growing a network of clients
